Hi, my name is Mia Paunovic and I love colors. I was born in Chicago and currently, I’m a student at School of the Art Institute of Chicago. I’m driven by curiosity and a passion to explore the world of design. Outside of school I enjoy drawing, digital art, cooking, hanging out with my friends and spending time with my family including our three dogs. Personally, I’m interested in many disciplines of design and am on a quest to discover the reasons and purpose behind design choices. For me, design is more than art — it needs to be purposeful, solve problems, and, most importantly, be functional.
My current body of work spans art, graphic, industrial, and product design, with a focus on exploring the “why” behind objects, shapes, and color choices, and their purpose. I love challenges and finding creative solutions that blend aesthetics with functionality. Eager to learn, I’m always seeking new techniques and insights to elevate my designs and refine my approach.
For me, design is not just about creating—it’s about understanding, solving, and innovating to make a meaningful impact.
